About

I’ll just be me.

I’m Karan, a qualified counsellor, and the founder of Brown Swan Counselling. I am also a mother, wife, daughter, sister etc. and have experienced the great highs and terrible lows that life can often throw at us. During my own difficult times, I reached out to a counsellor, and, to this day, it was the best decision I could have made. I didn’t know what to expect but due to the connection we had and the unconditional positive regard she showed me; I was able to process my thoughts and understand why I felt the way I did.

Since reaping the benefits of counselling, I am deeply passionate about the impact of genuine, unconditional support and the power it has to encourage personal growth and acceptance.

Listening to others and holding their stories has always been important to me and when my clients entrust me with their thoughts and feelings, I feel truly privileged.

As a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychology (BACP), I work in accordance with their ethical framework to ensure I provide my clients with a quality service which meets their individual needs.

My aim will always be to help you to help yourself through your most difficult of times.
